My name is Gabriel. I’m from Mexico City and moved to Portland, OR in late 2016 to pursue my artistic career. I am a filmmaker, editor, musician, and all around creative person.
I love filming and organizing footage so I can tell a story in a way that’s efficient and profound. I enjoy the adventure of creating art with limited resources and making that work look amazing. I achieve this by being intentional with what I shoot, imaginative editing, considered color correction and detailed sound design. Because I’m also a musician, in addition to writing music for some of my work, I think of my video projects musically - as the first thing I focus on while editing is finding a piece’s mood and rhythm -. To put it concisely, what I do is take footage that I film on a journey that will tell a story in little time but leaves an audience engaged and with a deeper understanding of a project’s subject.
